New releases of AttributeStudio, SBED, and ReservoirStudio will be demonstrated

CALGARY, Alberta — Geomodeling Technology Corp., a leading provider of innovative software for the upstream oil and gas industry, will be demonstrating new releases of AttributeStudio, SBED, and ReservoirStudio focused on quantative and unconventional interpreation at the CSPG/CSEG/CWLS GeoConvention 2012 Conference & Exhibition May 14-18 in Calgary, Alberta.  The theme of this year’s conference is: “Vision will pave the way for economic, environmental and energy recovery in Western Canada.”

Visitors to the Geomodeling Booth (#542) will be able to see the industry’s most innovative suite of features for quantitative analysis and unconventional plays, including:  breakthrough quantitative interpretation workflows for correlating seismic attribute data with well logs, advanced tools for microseismic data analysis, seismic-conditioned hydraulic fracture modeling, time sequenced 3D engineering data display, and calculation of stimulated rock volumes from microseismic data.  AttributeStudio from Geomodeling enables users to move beyond simple display technology and see how microseismic data can be correlated with seismic attributes and well log upscaling can be applied for detailed fracture analysis in shale and tight rock plays.

At GeoConvention 2012 users will also be able to see demonstrations of new versions of Geomodeling’s SBED and ReservoirStudio, showcasing the only applications available for simulation of heterogeneous bedding structures below well log scale and advanced geologic modeling with greater stratigraphic detail than conventional geocellular models.  Visitors to Gemodeling’s booth can see how several companies have applied SBED to heavy oil reservoir characterization and the new advanced features in ReservoirStudio.
