Module 1: Multi-Scale Database

The Multi-Scale Database is the foundation of subsurfaceAI 2024.2, enabling comprehensive management and integration of subsurface data across the entire life cycle of reservoir exploration and production. It supports a broad spectrum of data types including well data, 2-D and 3-D seismic data, seismic interpretations, 2-D grids, reservoir models, microseismic events, and culture data. Its robust Data I/O capabilities facilitate seamless import and export in various formats, ensuring that teams have immediate access to critical information for decision-making. This module represents a significant step forward in the efficient handling of complex geoscientific datasets.

Key Features

Multi-Scale Data Types:
  • Well Data: Includes well header, deviation survey, well tops, formation properties, well logs, core photos, core plug measurements, saturation, relative permeability data, well productions, completion, tracer measurements, T-D curves, synthetic seismograms, text and comment logs.
  • 2-D and 3-D Seismic Data: Covers survey geometry, post-stack amplitude, attributes in sections and volumes.
  • Seismic Interpretation Objects: Encompasses 2-D and 3-D horizons, fault lines, geobodies, seismic velocity grids, and volumes.
  • 2-D Grids: Comprises 2-D geometry grid and attribute grids.
  • Reservoir Model: Includes 3-D geometry grid and reservoir properties.
  • Microseismic Events: Covers geometry and microseismic properties.
  • Culture Data: Encompasses lines, polygons, bitmaps, and their attributes.
Data I/O:
  • Supports multiple 2-D and 3-D seismic data in SEG-Y formats.
  • Handles OSDU, VDS, and ZGY volume files, allowing attachment to the project, as well as import and export in VDS and ZGY formats.
  • Manages well data in ASCII columns and LAS format.
  • Handles seismic interpretations such as horizons and faults.
  • Manages culture data in lines, polygons in Shapefile and DXF formats.
  • Deals with bitmaps in various image formats such as GeoTIFF.
  • Manages microseismic data events and completion data.
  • Read real-time completion data from Honeywell PHD servers.
