Job Description:

As a Geoscience Software Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our subsurfaceAI integrated platform. This position involves directing the development of our advanced AI and ML-powered software tools, transforming the practices of geophysicists, geologists, reservoir engineers, and data scientists in oil & gas companies. Your work will be pivotal in optimizing subsurface workflows across exploration, production, CO2 reservoir characterization, and modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and implement a product strategy that aligns with our company’s goals. Stay informed on AI and ML advancements to incorporate innovative solutions
  • Market Analysis and User Engagement: Perform in-depth market analysis and engage with users to gather feedback for product enhancements
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with R&D, sales, marketing, and support teams, providing immediate feedback and bridging gaps between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Product Development Oversight: Manage the product development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and prioritizing features based on user needs
  • AI and Machine Learning Integration: Oversee the integration of AI and ML technologies, focusing on geoscience applications
  • Training and Documentation: Create user documentation and training materials, and conduct training sessions
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Monitor key performance metrics and report on product impact
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure product compliance with industry standards and ethical AI usage
  • Budget Management: Oversee the product budget, ensuring effective resource allocation
  • User Support and Feedback Integration: Collaborate with support teams and incorporate user feedback into product enhancements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geosciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in product management, preferably in geoscience software or AI-driven applications
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning, AI technologies, and their applications in geosciences & oil and gas subsurface workflows
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in both English and Mandarin
  • Leadership ability to guide cross-functional teams
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in the oil & gas industry is highly advantageous
