New features for AttributeStudio, SBED and ReservoirStudio will be demonstrated

CALGARY, Alberta — Geomodeling Technology Corp., a leading provider of innovative software for the upstream oil and gas industry, will be demonstrating new features focused on unconventional interpreation at the CSPG/CSEG/CWLS Recovery 2011 Conference & Exhibition May 9-13 in Calgary, Alberta.  The theme of this year’s conference is: “Paving the Way for Economic, Environmental and Energy recovery in Western Canada.”

Visitors to the Geomodeling Booth (#601) will be able to see the industry’s most innovative suite of features for unconventional plays, including:  advanced tools for microseismic data analysis, seismic-conditioned hydraulic fracture modeling, enhanced stratigraphic well-to-seismic attribute correlation, engineering data movies for sequenced display of fracture progression, and calculation of simulated rock volumes for fractures.  AttributeStudio from Geomodeling enables users to move beyond simple display technology and see how microseismic data can be correlated with seismic attributes and well log upscaling can be applied for detailed fracture analysis in shale and tight rock plays.  AttributeStudio is the only software on the market than can upscale and correlate well log data in both vertical and horizontal wells to quantify fracture prediction and well performance.
